Senior Engineering Consultant @ Electria Group

Position: Sr. Electrical Engineer – Renewables | Contract to Direct Hire

Location: Remote first - occasional travel.

Role Overview: Looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead large-scale solar and battery energy storage projects, from development through commissioning and handover to operations.

This hands-on, cross-functional role involves driving engineering standards, overseeing construction activities, and acting as the owner’s representative during execution. You will collaborate closely with EPCs, review technical submittals, support commissioning, and manage third-party engineers.

What You'll Bring:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (PE license a plus)
• 3+ years in utility-scale solar + BESS project engineering or construction
• Solid understanding of electrical design, load calculations, specifications, and commissioning workflows
• Experience reviewing RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and redlines
• Skilled in managing EPCs and third-party engineering teams
• Strong communication and leadership skills—ability to drive results and keep teams aligned
• Willingness to travel and be hands-on when required
• Independent, solution-focused, and able to perform under pressure
