We're Hiring: Senior Electrical Engineer | Niwot, CO | $110K–$145K | Relocation Assistance Provided

️ The Role:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll be a key contributor in the design, development, and testing of electronic systems for the Company. You’ll work on both new product development and sustaining efforts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and product management. You will be using and developing a broad range of electronic engineering skills that include embedded microprocessor designs as well as sensor circuitry, DC/DC converters and other supporting electronics. For new product design, you will be part of a project team helping to create the next generation and overcoming challenges at the physical limit of opto-mechanical and electronic sensing technologies.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, test, and troubleshoot embedded electronics and sensor circuitry
• Develop solutions with embedded microprocessor systems, DC/DC converters, and analog circuitry
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including mechanical, firmware, and production engineering
• Create and maintain technical documentation (schematics, test reports, design notes)
• Lead and support product development from concept to release

What You Bring:

• BSEE required (MSEE preferred)
• 10+ years in electronic hardware design
• Expertise in microprocessor design, analog circuitry, signal conditioning, and PCB design
• Proficiency with schematic capture tools (Mentor xDx Designer experience is a plus)
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
• Experience with i.MX6 or similar architectures
• Familiarity with FPGAs, DDR, SPI, I2C, USB peripherals
• Basic C/C++ programming knowledge
