Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to join our Electrical Engineering team in Burlington, MA. The role can be performed remotely as well, with responsibilities spanning the full design lifecycle from concept to construction documents.

The ideal candidate has extensive electrical design experience, CAD proficiency, and familiarity with Revit or SKM. Collaboration with clients and vendors is essential, as is delivering high-quality, on-time work across multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years' electrical design experience.
• Technical or Associate Degree in electrical engineering is a plus.
• Proficient in computer-aided design and CAD operations.
• General knowledge of all electrical systems.
• Experience with Revit, SKM or other electrical software is a plus.
• Demonstrated problem solving, effective communication, time management and budget-conscious design.

Responsibilities

• Develops design concepts and prepares documents during design development and detail phases.
• Uses CAD to develop sketches, drawings and construction documents; reviews for standards compliance.
• Coordinates with equipment vendors and clients to secure scope and design intent.
• Ensures quality checks and coordination; reflects design intent in documents.
• Coordinates design work with related engineering disciplines and participates in meetings.
• Performs special projects as assigned.
