Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering/design experience in building design (lighting, fire alarm, power distribution).
• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college/university.
• Expertise in CAD/engineering design software (AutoCAD/Revit).
• General knowledge of electrical system design and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares design computations and cost estimates for smaller, less complex projects.
• Uses AutoCAD/Revit to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Produces drawings and equipment schedules; coordinates with Project Designer/Engineer.
• Performs lighting, power distribution, and equipment sizing calculations.
• Keeps Project Manager informed of workload and scope changes.
• Ensures drawings comply with company design standards.
