Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks an Electrical Designer to contribute to the complete design of electrical/instrumentation assignments at an industrial site in New Johnsonville, TN. You will work under general supervision, producing MCC single lines, wiring diagrams, and layouts as part of a project task team.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in electrical design, familiarity with NEC, AutoCAD and MicroStation, and the ability to communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; CAD/GED draft experience preferred.
• Experience with electrical/instrumentation drafting in industrial settings.
• Ability to interpret NEC and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Produce installation details and single-line drawings with minimal supervision.
• Create electrical room layouts, MCC elements, and cable schedules.
• Identify and communicate design changes to the team.
• Provide on-site support during startup.
