Job summary
Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in New Johnsonville, TN, is seeking electrical designers to join our team. You will assist in the complete design of electrical/instrumentation projects at an industrial facility under supervision, contributing to layout and documentation efforts.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of related drafting experience, an associate degree in engineering technology or CAD, and solid knowledge of NEC, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
Qualifications
- Requires an Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD.
- Requires 2+ years of relevant industrial electrical/instrumentation drafting experience.
- Familiarity with NEC and applicable design standards.
- Ability to produce installation details, MCC single lines, and electrical room layouts under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Produce installation details, MCC single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, and grounding plans.
- Create lighting, power, and instrumentation plans.
- Communicate scope/design changes promptly and provide on-site startup assistance when required.
- Adhere to department design and drafting standards and project task team specifications.
