Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in New Johnsonville, TN seeks an Electrical Designer to support the design of electrical/instrumentation systems at an industrial facility. You will work under general supervision on projects of increasing complexity, producing drawings and layouts for MCCs, wiring, and grounding.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in engineering technology or CAD drafting and 2+ years' experience; familiarity with NEC, calculations, and CAD standards; strong teamwork and

Qualifications

• Familiarity with NEC and electrical design standards.
• Ability to perform lighting level and voltage calculations.
• Experience sizing wires/conduits and assessing MCC loading.

Responsibilities

• Produce installation details, single-line drawings, and panel layouts.
• Prepare grounding, lighting, power and instrument plans under supervision.
• Identify scope changes and communicate design updates promptly.
• Provide on-site startup support when needed.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines.
