Job summary
Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in New Johnsonville, TN is seeking electrical designers to contribute to complete electrical/instrumentation design at an industrial facility. The ideal candidate will be familiar with NEC, draft standards, and be able to produce installation details, MCC single lines, cable schedules, and room layouts under supervision; on-site startup support is also expected.
2+ years of relevant experience and an associate degree in engineering technology or CAD are
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD is required.
- Certification is not required at this level.
- 2+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation drafting and design
Responsibilities
- Produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electrical room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting, power and instrumentation plans under minimal supervision.
- Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly.
- Provide on-site assistance during startup.
