McClure Engineering is seeking an Experienced Electrical Designer to build design and layout functions, size electrical wiring and ductwork, and coordinate with clients and the design team. You will review drawings for quality, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

The role includes field inspections, collaboration with internal and external teams, and the use of BIM tools like Revit. A technical/associate degree in drafting or engineering tech is required, with 5+ years of relevant

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in electrical design/drafting for building systems.
• Familiar with BIM systems (Revit).
• Proficient in reading 2D and 3D drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout functions: wire sizing and routing, equipment room layout, one line diagrams, coordination with building systems and outside clients.
• Review drawings for practices, quality, clarity, and compliance with office standards and codes.
• Perform field inspections to verify existing site conditions.
