Job summary

The Premier Group is seeking a BIM Designer to join our national electrical construction team. The role focuses on creating high-quality 2D/3D electrical models using Revit and AutoCAD across large commercial and industrial projects.

You will collaborate with project teams to resolve clashes and produce construction documents for field use. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in electrical BIM/design, proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, ACC, AutoCAD, and NEC knowledge, plus strong communication and

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 2+ years of electrical BIM/design experience.
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, ACC, AutoCAD.
• Strong reading of NEC and electrical drawings.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D electrical models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Create construction documents, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment layouts.
• Coordinate with project teams to identify and resolve clashes.
• Produce detailed installation and coordination drawings for field operations.
• Conduct field surveys and document existing site conditions.
• Create prefab drawings, fabrication details, and BOMs.
• Support electrical power and lighting layouts, circuiting, switching, and design efforts.
• Respond to construction administration requests and drawing revisions throughout project life cycles.
