Job summary

McClure Engineering is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our design team, focusing on electrical building systems within a BIM environment. You will develop, manage, and coordinate models, ensuring alignment with project standards and cross-discipline collaboration with Mechanical, Plumbing, architectural and structural teams.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of BIM Coordination experience, proficiency in Revit, and a strong ability to read 2D and 3D drawings, communicate clearly, and support

Qualifications

• Technical or associate's degree from an accredited technical institution or college is required.
• Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology is acceptable.
• 2+ years’ BIM Coordination experience with electrical design or MEP consulting.
• Experience coordinating BIM models across disciplines and reading 2D/3D drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Revit.
• Coordinate BIM Models with Mechanical, Plumbing, architectural and structural teams
• Identify and resolve system clashes through coordination meetings and model reviews
• Work closely with electrical engineers, designers and project managers to support design intent
• Maintain alignment with project standards, including model organization and naming conventions
