Job summary

McClure Engineering is seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to join a team of designers and engineers on diverse building and campus projects. You will create detailed designs using AutoCAD and Revit, perform field inspections, and work under the guidance of a Senior Mechanical Designer to sharpen your skills.

Key qualifications include 5+ years in mechanical design/drafting, proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit, and the ability to read 2D and 3D drawings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mechanical design/drafting for building systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit; able to read 2D and 3D drawings.
• Proficient in MS Office; takes initiative and ownership of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and layout functions for duct/pipe sizing and routing.
• Review drawings for quality and adherence to standards and codes.
• Conduct field inspections to verify existing site conditions; coordinate with teams.
