Kiewit is seeking a Lead Electrical Designer to support EPC power generation projects. You will lead a design team, manage budgets and schedules, and interface across disciplines to deliver safe, constructible, and cost-effective electrical raceway designs.

This role involves coordinating with construction teams and other engineers, mentoring staff, and ensuring adherence to company standards. Strong 3D visualization and communication skills are essential.

Qualificações

• At least 8 years of electrical design experience.
• Experience leading electrical design teams.
• Experience managing budgets and schedules.
• Power generation experience preferred.
• Experience in SmartPlant 3D.
• Ability to conceptualize in a 3D environment.
• Ability to work in a growing multi-discipline team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a group of electrical designers in developing electrical raceway systems.
• Manage electrical design activities against project schedule and budget.
• Track and report design progression to project management and others.
• Complete monthly reports for quantities, schedule and forecasting.
• Interface with construction to ensure design is safe, constructible, and low cost.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, engineers and construction on the design.
• Check design deliverables for accuracy, quality and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate via Project Database (RFRs, Holds, ECN, RFIs, etc.).
• Mentor design team and support field resolution.
