Job summary

Kiewit Power Engineering seeks a Lead Electrical Designer to guide EPC project design for power facilities. You will manage a design team, route cables, develop 3D models, and ensure NEC compliance.

This full-time role supports a multi-discipline EPC delivery model and involves coordination with construction teams to ensure safe, cost-effective, and constructible designs. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience in power generation projects preferred.
• Strong 3D modeling skills and ability to conceptualize in 3D.

Responsibilities

• Design cable trays, grounding and lighting systems from concept to completion.
• Route electrical cables in a 3D environment to generate a cable schedule.
• Develop 3D models and check for interferences and constructability.
• Lead and manage a design team to meet project budgets and schedules.
• Collaborate with discipline interfaces, engineering and construction.
