Job summary

GHT seeks a senior electrical design engineer in Charlotte, NC with 10+ years of experience in electrical power distribution and design for commercial interiors. A B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and an active North Carolina PE license are required; LEED is a plus.

The role may focus on design, project management, and hands-on leadership. Candidates should be proficient in electrical design, NFPA rules, and Revit, with the ability to lead teams and coordinate

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years in Electrical Power Distribution/Design for Commercial Interiors.
• Current NC Professional Engineer license required.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for commercial interiors and related coordination.
• Lead design/project management and mentor engineering staff.
• Ensure compliance with building and NFPA codes, energy standards.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and participate in site visits.
