Job summary

Applied Engineering is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a remote role. You will lead electrical design and validation for subsystems, translate system requirements into practical designs, and own schematics, drawings, and BOMs.

The position involves collaboration across engineering teams, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting project planning and execution while traveling up to 20% within the USA.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of industrial electrical design experience.
• Experience with electrical components selection per NEC/UL.
• Experience with design documentation, reviews, testing, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and validation for major subsystems and product areas.
• Translate system requirements into practical electrical designs.
• Own schematics, drawings, calculations, specs, and bills of materials.
