Job summary

Enviros is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer to design, manage, and deliver complex electrical systems across healthcare, biotech, higher education, commercial and residential developments. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE); multi-state licensure preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of A/E design experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior Electrical Engineer to ensure all project deliverables meet high standards of technical accuracy and quality.
• Provide expert-level engineering support to ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and applicable codes.
• Lead and coordinate electrical system design, including collaboration with city, state, and local agencies.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert, overseeing design development, calculations, specifications, and plan documentation.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to client proposals and presentations.
• Offer day-to-day leadership and guidance to project teams, stepping in as needed to maintain progress and quality.
• Mentor junior staff and provide field oversight during construction and commissioning phases.
• Design and specify power, lighting, and auxiliary systems, including single-line diagrams, load calculations, and equipment layouts.
• Document commissioning processes, assumptions, and outcomes clearly and effectively.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
• Foster strong client relationships and support contractor selection and performance evaluation.
• Deliver clear, concise project documentation and contribute to developing competitive bids and additional service requests.
• Design electrical systems for healthcare, biotech, higher education, commercial, and residential developments.
• Conduct or oversee power system studies including short-circuit analysis, coordination studies, arc flash mitigation, and load analysis.
• Ensure construction, installation, and testing activities align with project specifications and client expectations.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM to perform engineering and design tasks.
• Onsite direction of data collection team.
