Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Livermore, California is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to develop production-ready probe card electrical designs that translate customer requirements into manufacturable solutions.

This role leads projects from requirements review through production release and collaborates with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality results. The position requires strong knowledge of impedance control, PDN, signal integrity, and digital/analog

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Master's degree or PhD with relevant experience may be considered.
• Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-ready probe card electrical designs that meet customer requirements, internal standards, performance and manufacturing capabilities.
• Interpret complex product specifications and apply design rules, manufacturing requirements, and engineering processes to create effective designs.
• Use design tools to translate customer requirements into high-quality electrical designs.
• Create, analyze, and validate logical designs and netlists for production probe card applications.
• Manage assigned design projects from requirements review through production release.
