Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Livermore, CA is seeking a Sr Principal PCB Design Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced high-performance probe card PCBs supporting next‑generation semiconductor test solutions.

You will mentor designers, drive architecture and layout for complex multilayer boards, including high-density HDL, and coordinate with SI, ME, and Manufacturing to ensure reliability and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• PCB design experience in high-speed digital, RF, mixed-signal, or semiconductor products is required.
• Strong knowledge of PCB layout tools and fabrication/assembly processes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, layout, and implementation of highly complex multilayer PCB designs for probe cards.
• Develop design solutions for high-density, high-speed, and high-current products including advanced packaging.
• Drive design execution from concept to release with schedule, quality, and manufacturability objectives.
