Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates seeks an Electrical Engineer (Design) in Oak Ridge, TN, for mission engineering support at the Y-12 National Security Complex. The role focuses on electrical design output, change requests, and documentation control within a nuclear-regulated environment.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET) with 10+ years of experience, NFPA 70/NEC guidance, and the ability to collaborate with production and support teams. DOE Q clearance is required.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with production and support organizations.

Responsibilities

• Review Change Requests (CRs) for RTS > 90 days that have not been closed.
• Identify Affected Documents to revise per CRs.
• Perform walkdowns to verify work has been performed.
• Review and compare Affected Documents with CR work.
• Prepare redline markups of Affected Documents.
• Provide redlined copies to drafting for incorporation onto Parent CM document.
• Verify that Affected Documents reflect CR information correctly.
