Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates seeks a Project Engineer for the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN. The role provides project engineering support, coordination across multiple disciplines, and leadership for high-profile plant initiatives.

The successful candidate will plan and direct engineering activities, establish project scope, budgets, and schedules, and coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Project Management, Construction, Startup, and Project Controls teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an ABET-accredited school in a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the engineering activities on projects.
• Establish detailed project design scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Cooperate with Production, Maintenance, Project Management, Construction, Startup, and Project Controls personnel to coordinate engineering efforts.
• Review project engineering progress against approved schedules and take corrective action when required.
