Job summary

ADM is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop and review electrical engineering deliverables for North America facilities. The role covers HV/MV/LV distribution, substations, and power systems, with FEL 1/2/3 package development and vendor data review.

Responsibilities include interdisciplinary reviews, comment resolution, and ensuring design based on project phase, scope, and standards. Travel to sites and vendor shops is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering/design experience in industrial environments.
• PE license or ability to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Review EPC and consultant deliverables for technical correctness, completeness, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
• Lead comment resolution cycles: consolidate comments, chair review meetings, track closure, and verify revisions.
• Develop and review electrical design for HV/MV/LV systems (distribution, substations, protection and control).
• Produce and check power system calculations and engineering analyses (load, short-circuit, derating, coordination).
• Coordinate with civil/structural, mechanical, I&C to resolve interface issues and ensure project alignment.
