Job summary

SB Energy seeks a Manager, HV Electrical Engineering to own HV/MV electrical engineering scope for hyperscale AI data centers, including substations, MV distribution, protection, SCADA, and interconnections. You will work under the HV Lead Engineer and drive design, reviews, and reliability for large loads.

Responsibilities cover technical leadership, equipment selection, and coordination with utilities, EPCs, OEMs, and project teams to ensure compliant, scalable, and cost-effective electrical

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in power systems engineering.
• ABET-accredited BSEE; MS and PE are a plus.
• ownership of HV substations, MV distribution, and utility interconnections.

Responsibilities

• Own HV/MV electrical engineering scope for hyperscale data centers.
• Design review of HV substations, MV distribution, and interconnections.
• Develop high-reliability architectures (N+1, 2N) for data center loads.
• Coordinate with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, EPCs, and customers to resolve issues.
• Provide technical leadership on equipment selection and reviews.
