Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Lead Electrical & Controls engineer to support MWIS projects. You will design control and automation strategies, develop narrative, control logic charts, PLC programs, and electrical drawings.

You will also support commissioning and on-site troubleshooting alongside the Mechanical Engineering team. The role requires knowledge of industrial water treatment systems, P&ID design, and familiarity with major PLC/HMI platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or related engineering field.
5+ years in design of industrial water treatment systems.
Proficient with major PLC/SCADA platforms and HMIs.
Familiar with NEC and UL508A.
Experience with P&ID and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Design control strategy, narrative, logic charts and PLC/HMI programs.
Create control philosophy, sequence charts and safety-focused designs.
Develop electrical layouts, single line diagrams, I/O lists and network architecture.
Support commissioning, testing and troubleshooting on-site.
Prepare schematics, layouts and BOMs for control panels.
Collaborate with Mechanical, Service teams and production facilities.
Manage project scope, budget and schedule; report risks.
