Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies in Trevose, PA seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to design and implement control and automation strategies for MWIS projects. You will develop control narratives, PLC programs, electrical layouts and panel drawings, and support commissioning and field deployment across water treatment facilities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 5 years in industrial water treatment, and proficiency with Allen-Bradley, GE, Siemens and Wonderware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing industrial water treatment systems and control strategies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare P&ID drawings and related process diagrams.
• Read and interpret engineering documents, including P&IDs, GA, Schedules and electrical schematics.
• Interpret, comment and follow contract and customer specifications.
• Design detailed control logic for plant operation with safety in mind.
• Support Electrical, Control & Instrumentation design of standard products.
• Assist commissioning, testing and troubleshooting activities.
• Manage budget, scope and schedule; proactively report risks.
• Prepare schematics, layouts and BOMs for control panels.
• Develop control narratives, sequences and PLC/HMI programs.
