Veolia Group is seeking a Lead Electrical & Controls engineer to support MWIS project execution, collaborating with Mechanical Engineering on control and automation strategy, and delivering detailed electrical designs including PLC/HMI programs, schematics, and panel drawings.

The role emphasizes safety, process knowledge in water treatment, and collaboration with production and service teams, with travel up to 25% and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• 5 years of experience in design of industrial water treatment systems.
• Proficiency with PLCs and HMIs (e.g., Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, Wonderware, Siemens) and familiarity with NEC/UL508A.
• Experience with P&ID, E&I drawings, control narratives, and PLC/HMI programming.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of MWIS projects with Mechanical Engineering team.
• Design control strategies, narratives, and sequences for plant operation focusing on safety.
• Develop control logic and PLC/HMI programs from basis projects.
• Prepare electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, I/O lists, and panel layouts.
• Assist commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Manage budget, scope, and schedule; report risks and opportunities to project teams.
