Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Lead Electrical & Controls Engineer to design and implement control and automation strategies for MWIS projects. You will collaborate with Mechanical Engineering to create control narratives, PLC/HMI programs, and detailed electrical drawings.

The role involves developing system architectures, reviewing P&ID documents, and supporting commissioning and field installation while ensuring safety and compliance with NEC/UL508A standards. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; candidates with related experience considered.
• 5 years of experience in designing industrial water treatment systems.
• Proficiency with PLC/SCADA platforms (Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, Wonderware, Siemens).
• Familiarity with NEC and UL508A standards and P&ID processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop control narratives, logic charts, PLC programs, and electrical drawings.
• Design control system architecture, single-line diagrams, I/O lists, and network layouts.
• Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities at sites.
• Prepare schematics, layouts, and BOMs for control panels.
• Assist project teams with budget, scope, and schedule management.
