Job summary

Matrix Service Company is seeking a Superintendent to oversee electrical construction discipline work areas. The role focuses on planning, supervising, and coordinating activities to ensure safety, schedule, and quality compliance on site.

Responsibilities include field safety audits, manpower planning, and collaboration with multiple departments to meet project timelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in a similar facility environment.
• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Advanced understanding of scheduling and cost control.
• Ability to supervise large groups.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise work activities; determine method of construction, safety procedures and requirements, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment and work schedule.
• Coordinate assigned work with different crafts, company departments and other contractors.
• Maintain liaison with safety, engineering, estimating and planning to ensure compliance with policies, drawings, specs and schedules.
• Assist in resolving construction problems and safety issues as required.
• Conduct field safety audits and investigations with safety department as needed.
• Monitor manpower requisitioning with HR and ensure material/equipment support for craft activities and project schedule.
