Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead electrical installation teams on large-capital projects in the United States.

The role emphasizes safety,预算 adherence, and strong collaboration with the PM team to manage material buys, schedules, and labor tracking. Candidates should have 10+ years in electrical construction supervision, with exposure to $20M-$100M projects, OSHA-30, and proven pricing takeoff skills.

Qualifications

• Current State Electrical Journeyman License or 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or licensed journeyman experience.
• 10+ years' experience in electrical construction supervision, technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures.
• Experience with $20M-$100M electrical projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Understanding of construction and labor scheduling, cost control, and ability to supervise large groups.
• Ability to perform takeoffs and pricing for change orders and related project work.
• Excellent computer, communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills.
• Pass pre-employment background check and MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and direct personnel involved in installation of electrical systems to ensure safety, schedule, and budget.
• Maintain a culture of safety and quality first.
• Understand project design, drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Management on material buyouts, schedules, labor, and tracking.
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with project and company standards.
• Evaluate, mentor, and train field supervision and tradesmen.
• Perform takeoffs and pricing for change orders and project work.
• Evaluate productivity and schedules and adjust to optimize efficiency.
