Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Suffolk, Virginia is seeking a Commercial Electrical Construction Project Manager to lead and manage one or more complex electrical construction projects, from planning through completion, including client relations and coordination with crews.

The role requires 5+ years of electrical project management on $10M+ projects, a preferred engineering or construction management degree, and licensure (Journeyman or Master) when possible; travel and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction project management in $10M+ projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• Valid electrical license strongly preferred (Journeyman or Master).
• Proficiency in computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and pass background/MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall management in all phases of construction for one or more commercial electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a client group or area.
• Manages projects to exceed customer expectations while adhering to NEC and safety policies.
• Establishes objectives, policies, and performance standards in line with corporate policy.
• Represents the company in project meetings and supports labor negotiations and strategy sessions.
• Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests and maintain client relationships.
• Travel as required.
