Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead on-site electrical construction for mission-critical data center projects. You will supervise field crews, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will develop look-ahead plans, manage documentation, and support QA/QC, commissioning, and turnover. Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA and BIM coordination is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Leads all on-site electrical construction activities from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.
• Supervises field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to meet milestones.
• Develops short-interval plans, look-ahead schedules, and manpower forecasts.
• Ensures safety compliance with OSHA standards and site rules.
• Interprets drawings, specs, and codes (NEC, NFPA, Local codes).
• Coordinates with project management, engineering, and trades to maintain workflow.
• Monitors productivity, tracks progress, and takes corrective actions.
• Waters QA/QC activities, inspections, and commissioning.
