Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Configuration Management Engineer for the EE domain to own end-to-end CM across ECAD, BOM and PLM workflows. You will standardize processes, govern release, and drive data integrity from component initiation to supplier handoff.

You'll collaborate across design teams, manage EDM/Teamcenter synchronization, and develop CM training materials to bolster project readiness and lifecycle governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/related field.
• 5+ years in configuration management or PDM in EE/ECAD.
• Hands-on with PLM (Teamcenter) and ECAD tools (Mentor/Xpedition).
• Understand PCBA design-to-manufacturing workflows including BOM & release.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end EE CM lifecycle from initiation to handoff.
• Define and enforce PCB design lifecycle standards and BOM conventions.
• Synchronize EDM with PLM and manage AVL data integrity.
• Author CM standards and drive cross-project standardization.
• Govern custom component release and identify process gaps.
• Ensure BOMs are single-source-of-truth and automate verification.
• Develop EE CM curriculum and onboarding materials.
