Job summary
Pfizer Groton is seeking a senior engineer to lead electrical generation, distribution, and control systems supporting critical lab and manufacturing environments. You will oversee CHP operation, energy strategy, and integration with plant automation, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
The role requires strong experience with DCS/BMS/PLC, CMMS, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to advance energy and sustainability goals at a large multi-building campus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical generation and distribution systems.
- Experience with cogeneration/CHP systems and energy plant operations.
- Automation and control systems (DCS, BMS, PLCs) in industrial environments.
- Proficiency with CMMS and 2D/3D modeling tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for electrical infrastructure and CHP systems.
- Oversee engineering and maintenance strategies for reliability and energy optimization.
- Lead or support capital projects involving electrical infrastructure and upgrades.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with EHS, Pfizer standards, and audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with GWE objectives.
