Pfizer Groton, CT seeks an experienced Utilities Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership for 24x7 operations of central utility plants supporting R&D labs and manufacturing. You will partner with Utilities Operations, Maintenance, and Site Leadership to optimize reliability, safety, and lifecycle management while aligning with Pfizer's GWE and NetZero goals.
The role covers asset lifecycle, project execution, compliance with cGMP/GxP, and oversight of external service providers, with
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in utilities and/or central plant operations.
- Experience engineering and maintaining mechanical systems and infrastructure.
- Technical leadership or team-support roles.
Responsabilités
- Provide SME/site engineer leadership for mechanical utility systems.
- Partner with Utilities Operations for 24/7 plant reliability.
- Lead lifecycle management of utility assets including design, commissioning, maintenance, and obsolescence planning.
- Oversee capital projects and ensure commissioning through turnover.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP/GxP, EHS, and regulatory standards.
- Manage external service providers and establish KPIs/SLAs.
