Job summary
Lonza in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, commissioning, operation and continuous improvement of campus electrical systems supporting biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
The role requires overseeing power distribution, building automation, and utility integration while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, safety and regulatory compliance across the facility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 7-12 years of electrical engineering experience in regulated environments.
- Experience designing, commissioning, operating, and maintaining complex electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, integration, operation, and continuous improvement of campus electrical systems.
- Serve as SME for electrical infrastructure, power distribution, and building automation.
- Develop strategies for capacity, reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with Utilities, HVAC, Maintenance, Automation, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
- Support capital projects through planning, design review, commissioning and startup.
- Drive reliability, energy efficiency, sustainability, and lifecycle management.
