Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in the United States is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our Nuclear Power Group. The role focuses on developing electrical equipment and raceways, delivering 3-D models, and generating BOMs using SmartPlant S3D, SPEL, and SPI.

Hybrid work arrangement requires in-office presence three days weekly. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of detailed electrical plant design experience and excels at coordinating design deliverables across disciplines, mentoring junior

Qualifications

• 10+ years of detailed electrical plant design experience.
• Experience with raceway, supports, grounding, and lighting.
• Ability to interface with multi‑discipline teams in plant design.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design activities and coordinate detailed design phases.
• Create 3D electrical models and ensure consistency with SPEL & SPI.
• Generate deliverables, BOMs, and commodity lists.
• Resolve clashes in the 3D model and report status.
• Mentor junior designers and coordinate with project teams.
• Plan and execute electrical deliverable design.
