Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced electrical designer to lead design efforts for power plant projects in a hybrid environment. You will develop physical electrical layouts and coordinate with multi-discipline teams across engineering and field activities.

The role requires strong expertise in grounding layouts, conduit routing, and equipment location drawings, with significant hands-on experience using MicroStation and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in drafting or equivalent technical design experience.
• 10+ years of detailed physical design in grounding layouts, duct banks, conduit drawings, cable tray and equipment location drawings.
• Experience reviewing electrical physical layout drawings and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in design, modification, or upgrade of electrical systems for power plants.
• Produce electrical physical drawings and review vendor drawings for integration.
• Perform field data collection and participate in client site walkdowns.
