Leidos in the Allentown, PA area seeks a Senior Distribution Engineer passionate about electric utility design. You will work with clients to ensure high-quality work and develop design packages for complex projects in urban environments, balancing schedules, budgets, and scope.

The role requires 4+ years of distribution design experience, an ABET-accredited engineering degree, and a PE license. Some travel to PA locations is expected, with remote-working capabilities and potential field data

Competenze

4+ years of relevant design engineering experience for electric distribution.
ABET-accredited BS in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil or Industrial engineering.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license; PA licensure or ability to obtain.
Experience with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC).
Experience with structural analysis, guying calcs, cable pulling calcs, coordination of protective devices, and electric demand and fault currents calculations.

Mansioni

Perform design engineering for Leidos electric utility customers.
Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, and Make Ready, using GIS and WMS systems such as EFD, AUD, Smallworld, ArcGIS, Infor, EAM, STORMS, and Maximo.
Manage scope, schedule, and budget of work assigned.
Perform functional tasks, planning, and/or customer follow-up.
Perform scope analysis of work assigned and maintain schedule adherence to advocate client priorities.
