Job summary

Leidos in Allentown, PA seeks a Senior Distribution Engineer to design electrical distribution solutions for utility clients. You will prepare work packages, manage scope, schedule and budget, and coordinate with clients to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The role requires an ABET-engineering degree, a PE license, and strong knowledge of NESC, with field data collection and local travel as needed. A hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Industrial engineering; relevant experience may substitute for degree.
• Active PE license; PA licensure or ability to obtain preferred.
• Experience with NESC codes and utility design standards.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage design packages.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering for Leidos electric utility clients.
• Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, and Make Ready using GIS/WMS systems.
• Manage scope, schedule and budget for assigned work.
• Coordinate field data collection and client follow-ups.
• Drive continuous improvements in workflows for quality deliverables.
• Occasional local/region travel to client sites as needed.
