Job summary

UF Information Technology (UFIT) seeks a professional-level Senior eLearning Support Specialist to join eLearning Support in Academic Technology, UFIT. You will support faculty, staff, and students using Canvas, VoiceThread, and Qualtrics, providing assistance via phone and ticket systems.

You will work with the eLearning team to promote and mature the learning environment, resolve obstacles, and document processes while enhancing communication and education across UFIT.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience or HS diploma with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with e-learning tools and course management systems, especially Canvas.
• Experience in higher education and providing user support for learning technologies.
• Ability to create user-facing documentation and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and recommend solutions for e-learning tool issues.
• Serve as escalation point for technical and customer issues among support staff.
• Test, evaluate, and assist with rollout of new centrally-supported tools.
• Create and maintain internal and user-facing documentation and tutorials.
• Train faculty, staff, and students on the learning management system.
• Collaborate with Instructional Design, Video Production, and Learning Analytics teams.
