The University of North Florida Board of Trustees is seeking Teaching and Learning Assistants to join the Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL). This role supports faculty with technical, instructional design, and creative media tasks in a technology‑driven environment.
No prior expertise is required; training and mentoring are provided. Responsibilities include assisting with Canvas and other digital tools, producing multimedia content, and contributing to documentation and processes.
The Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL) is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Teaching and Learning Assistants. This position offers the opportunity to work in an innovative, collaborative, and technology-focused environment supporting faculty in teaching, learning, and creative media projects. Teaching and Learning Assistants provide technical, instructional, and creative support while gaining valuable experience with educational technologies, multimedia production, instructional design, and customer service. No prior expertise is required: we provide training, mentoring, and opportunities to develop new skills.
This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University’s policy, this position may also require a credit check. The holder of this position is designated as a “Responsible Employee” pursuant to their role under TitleIX. Therefore, the incumbent must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the University’s TitleIX Administrator or any divisional TitleIX Coordinator.
