Job summary

Leslie’s Poolmart, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the EHS program at our Illinois manufacturing facility. The role partners with operations, HR, and leadership to drive a proactive safety culture and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee the EHS management system, incident investigations, and contractor safety, while promoting continuous improvement across the site. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CHMM, or OSHA 30 are strongly preferred.
• Experience with safety management systems and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety strategy and embed safe behaviors across the facility.
• Oversee development and continuous improvement of the EHS management system.
• Manage contractor safety, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and related bodies.
• Develop training programs and engage employees in safety initiatives.
