Job summary

OSI Group seeks an experienced EHS leader to drive our safety culture and regulatory compliance across manufacturing facilities. You will oversee a team, manage incidents, and lead programs that reduce risk and protect workers while aligning with corporate standards.

The role requires extensive experience in industrial safety, strong communication with all levels, and the ability to coordinate with the corporate EHS team.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in related field preferred.
• 7+ years in progressively responsible safety/environmental roles in manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of governmental safety regulations is a plus.
• Clear, effective communication with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to resolve policy and safety program issues.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team, with authority to hire and performance-manage.
• Supervise 1-5 employees and coach across all levels.
• Drive safety initiatives such as lockout/tagout, confined spaces, electrical safety.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop programs for risk reduction, compliance, and engagement.
• Provide direction to ensure compliant execution of EHS programs.
• Collaborate with Corporate EHS on programs and policies.
• Communicate EHS metrics to diverse audiences.
• Lead complex projects to anticipate, evaluate, and control hazards.
• Assist with workers' compensation investigations related to EHS.
• Prepare environmental permits and reports for regulators.
• Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Represent OSI during inspections and guide facility safety personnel.
• Coordinate standard work for hourly safety teams.
