Job summary

Leslie’s is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee all environmental, health, and safety programs in the Stellar Manufacturing facility acquired by Leslie’s. You will drive a proactive safety culture, lead the EHS management system, and ensure regulatory compliance across OSHA, EPA, and NFPA standards.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, contractor safety oversight, training delivery, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive safety strategy across the facility.
• Oversee the EHS management system and ensure OSHA, EPA and NFPA compliance.
• Standardize safety processes including SOPs and incident reporting.
• Manage contractor onboarding and safety expectations with suppliers.
• Lead investigations for incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and promote engagement through safety programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare for inspections.
• Maintain emergency plans and coordinate drills with local authorities.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and maintenance on safety initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
