Leslie's Poolmart, Inc. is recruiting a Safety Manager for Stellar Manufacturing in Illinois. The role leads EHS programs to ensure compliance, reduces workplace risks, and partners with operations to build a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities include developing an integrated safety system, incident investigations, contractor safety, training, and regulatory readiness across the site.

Qualificações

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of oxidizer chemistry and acid-base reactions.
• Proficiency in statistical and quantitative analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with document control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to implement systems and processes.
• Direct experience with safety issues involving employees/customers/partners.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CHMM, or OSHA 30 preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard control methods, and industrial safety best practices.
• Ability to influence teams and drive safety initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Safety Leadership — Develop and integrate a comprehensive safety strategy across culture and programs.
• EHS Management System — Oversee the facility's EHS management system and compliance reporting.
• Process Safety & Standardization — Maintain SOPs, hazard assessments, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Contractor & Supplier Safety — Ensure contractors adhere to safety requirements and onboarding.
• Incident Response & Investigation — Lead investigations and perform root-cause analyses.
• Training & Employee Engagement — Deliver safety training and coordinate safety committees.
• Regulatory Compliance — Ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT compliance and inspections readiness.
• Emergency Preparedness — Maintain response plans and drills with local authorities.
• Internal Collaboration — Partner across functions to identify risks and drive improvements.
