Job summary

Heartland Fabrication, LLC is seeking a Safety Project Manager to lead the development and execution of comprehensive health and safety programs across multiple facilities. You will work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, engineering, and management to ensure safety initiatives are implemented, tracked, and continuously improved to support operational excellence and risk reduction.

Reporting to the Director of People Operations, the ideal candidate will bring a proven track record

Qualifications

Four-year college degree in Safety Management or closely related field.
CSP designation preferred.
Experience in heavy manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with EHS software systems.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, development and execution of health and safety programs across operations.
Drive cross-functional safety initiatives with measurable outcomes.
Embed safety objectives into business strategies to reduce risk.
Oversee incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
Coordinate audits, regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local regs.
Mentor staff and manage safety committees.
