Job summary

Hello Hire is seeking an EHS Manager to oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across two manufacturing sites. You will drive compliance, lead field engagement, and partner with operations to strengthen safety and environmental stewardship.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will develop and implement training, conduct audits, and manage hazardous waste and regulatory reporting to ensure a proactive safety culture and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or related field
• Ability to deliver safety trainings
• Strong initiative to influence and coach across teams
• Travel up to 10% domestically

Responsibilities

• Champion a positive safety culture across both locations
• Lead site health and safety processes and risk assessments
• Develop and lead safety, compliance, and preventative programs and training
• Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance assessments; drive corrective actions
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis with preventive actions
• Provide EHS performance reporting and leadership insights
• Oversee environmental compliance programs for Oregon state and federal mandates
• Manage hazardous waste streams and regulatory reporting
