Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a Manager of Health & Safety to lead the implementation of Management Systems and drive continuous improvement across assigned operations. You will train and coach personnel, perform RCA investigations, and collaborate with project teams to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, data analysis, and communication skills, with travel to field sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Leadership, management, and communication abilities required.
• Ability to analyze data and present findings.
• Experience supervising and mentoring H&S Coordinators.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal customers, clients and regulatory entities.
• Experience implementing Management Systems and H&S programs in industrial settings.
• Preferred ASP/CSP certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of core Management Systems and H&S programs.
• Train, coach, and develop workforce to improve H&S performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis and incident investigations.
• Perform audits and prepare action plans to close deficiencies.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and site coordinators to resolve safety issues.
• Monitor and report on safety metrics and compliance.
