Job summary

Bunge is seeking an experienced EHS Leader for our Remington, Indiana plant. You will oversee environmental, health and safety programs, driving a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities include leading EHS training, auditing programs, and collaborating with plant leadership to prevent injuries and incidents while promoting sustainability and safety excellence across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental/Health Science, Engineering, or closely related field, or equivalent work experience required.
• 10+ years of safety and environmental experience required.
• Proven track record with SIF/HPE improvements and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental, health and safety leadership and technical expertise for the plant.
• Execute all EHS programs and plans to prevent injuries and environmental incidents.
• Coach and develop employees to promote a safety-first culture.
• Implement and train EHS programs for staff, contractors and visitors.
• Monitor policies, permits and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Lead safety observations and audits to improve program effectiveness.
• Investigate incidents and drive prevention measures and data-driven improvements.
