Job summary

Bunge in Decatur, IN is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs at the plant. You will champion a safety-first culture and partner with plant leadership to prevent serious injuries and environmental incidents, while aligning with corporate EHS standards.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will develop training, manage incidents, audits, and regulatory liaison efforts, and advance sustainability initiatives within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a safety, environmental, health, or engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of safety and environmental experience.
• Proven ability to implement safety programs and improve SIF/HPE metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical expertise in all EHS matters for the plant. Champion a safety-first culture across the workforce.
• Implement, maintain, and update EHS programs to meet company standards and regulations; focus on SIFs, HPEs, and environmental incidents.
• Ensure adherence to global EHS requirements and local regulations; maintain permits and records.
• Develop and deliver EHS training for employees, contractors, and visitors; mentor staff on safe practices.
